No harassment. Harassment is defined as prejudiced expression (see above) or unwanted contact or communication.
Focus on plans, not people. In discussion cycling or transportation issues, keep discussion focused on the content of plans or project concepts. Avoid commentary on the people or personalities involved.
Procedures
Report breaches of the Code of Conduct to contact@ace-burnaby.ca.
ACE directors will investigate reports as promptly as possible, in confidence.
ACE directors will privately communicate their decision(s) to the report and to the subject of the report.
Decisions may include public disavowal of statements made that are found to violate the Code of Conduct, termination of membership in ACE, or other measures as decided by the Board.
